I am a 23 year old Norwegian studying physiotherapy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. And here is a quick story about what I did before came here.
I did my highschool in Kristiansand, not so far away from my hometown Vennesla. Afterwards I went off to a Norwegian “Folkehøgskole” in Bergen were I learned about Italian language and culture. Then I did my first year of studying in Trondheim, were I did sports-sociology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (it was smaller course of the university).
And now I am in Eindhoven! I really like it here. I have seen and experienced so much since I came. It was really the right choice for me, but you will read more about that later in the blog.
Here are some questions I would like to clear up later on in the blog; “How much mayonnaise is too much with your fries?”, “Which is the normal amount of bikes in a regular Dutch garage?”, “When did the wooden shoes go out of fashion?”, “Do they teach you to hill-start at the driving school?”
Just wanted to be the first one to leave a comment on your site. Good work!!:)
Greetings from Morten!!
Hi Axel,
I just wanted to say it’s a very nice blog you have. I’ve learned a couple new things.
I will be studying at Fontys, Eindhoven next semester as well. And to be honest, I am quite excited and frightened. I have little information about accommodation in Eindhoven.
But it seems pretty fun.
Thank you for your blog. Keep up the good job ;)
